Hello & Welcome to the Rabbit Hole

My name is Katrina and I am so glad you are here! I have been throwing around the idea of creating a blog for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger.

Creating the “theme” has been the most difficult portion of this adventure and also seems to be a common issue. I feel like I have so much to say, but it is hard to put it in one category. I may bounce around a little but I hope to build a community with you, hear your experiences and thoughts.

If I had to put it simply, in terms of theme: I am passionate about mental health. Specifically, anxiety and depression. This will be a common theme through out my blog, as well as my thoughts on current issues and my struggles through adulthood.

Ah yes, speaking of adulthood… Can someone get me a manual for this!? HELP! I am sure most of you have had that same thought and you know what, we can get through this and grow together!

Most importantly, I want to thank you for stopping by my page. I am new to this blogging world and I appreciate your patience while I figure this all out. IΒ hope you keep in touch and would love to hear your feedback.

xoxo,
Kat

Hi, I think one of the most comforting moments I ever had was when someone at work told me they had been working for 40 years and still felt like they didn’t know what they were doing. I am hoping this applies to life in general as well! Great post; good luck with the blog!

Well done for attempting to tackle such difficult issues, mental health is something which is sadly still not taken very seriously. Good luck going forward though!

Welcome to the blogging world! I blog a lot about depression and anxiety (and a ton of other things) as well. Its wonderfully cathartic to be able to put our struggles out there and have people not only who can relate but who are inspired by the message. Good luck. I gave a follow!

I too have struggled with Anxiety for a long time. It’s been a huge focus of recovery for me over the last two years, I refuse to be debilitated by it any longer. I just started my blog as well and have had such a frustrating time with the layout. I’m usually pretty savvy with websites, but this one is getting the best of me. Good luck on your future post, I look forward to reading them!

welcome! I have a hunch you’re going to find you’re expressing a very shared human experience. I see anxiety as in many ways a sane and resilient response to our past and present human experience. Does that help with a sense of self-acceptance and belonging?
